We use the pedagogical approach of play based learning using the resource “How does learning happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early years.”

Our program provides the children with the opportunities to learn and master new skills along side our caring staff. We document, observe and encourage children in projects both long and short term, as well as daily learning experiences helping to develop children’s social, emotional, communication, language, literacy, cognitive and physical skills. We provide consistency in our routines and daily experiences that encourage toddlers to feel safe and secure while exploring their surroundings. Staff encourage children to be more independent by feeding themselves, verbally telling their needs or wants, potty training, etc.
